Azalea （ ツツジ ）
Azaleas in this district are at their best now.
The color of azaleas in my neighborhood is deep red,
red, magenta, light purpule, white, and so on.
This year, cherry blossoms and azaleas began to come out
a week earlier than usual year. That is why it has been getting
warmer and warmer year after year.
The azalea festival in Kurume City is held now. I think it is 52nd
and will be held till on May 5th. Theirs in Kurume are very beautiful
and famous in Kyusyu. I suppose they are the symbol flower of Kurume.
It is said that about 35,000 people on the average visited there
during the period every year.
I don`t know the symbol flower of Fukuoka City.
Sometime I will find out what the symbol flower of Fukuoka is.
