It has been so cold since about two weeks ago in Kyushu.

Influenza has recently broken out there,
especially here in Fukuoka

I caught it about ten days ago and am in it.

I have a sore throat and have been slightly feverish since then.

I often see a lot of persons wearing a mask in the town.
I also wear a healthy mask whenever I go out.

It has still been raging in Japan..

According to today's TV news, the number of those who are
suffering from influenza all over the country is about two million
eight hundred twenty thousand.
