When I woke up and looked out of the window yesterday morning,
I found it was snowing here and there.

The snow was the large soft snowflakes (　牡丹雪 ）.
It was about 10 cm deep in the suburbs of Fukuoka City.
: between 5 cm and 15 cm.

Everything was covered with white snow.

I think we had the heaviest snowfall that we have had
for about a few years.

It was really beautiful sight, but it was verry cold.
I like snow or a snowman as if I were a kid.

But the people of Touhoku and Hokuriku districts were in trouble
because of the heavy snow every year, especially this year.

I feel sympathy fo the people living there.
