酷暑 （ intense heat ）

From about August 1st to 15th,
I felt intense heat every day

I couldn't endure it.

The long summer is drawing to a close.

It has still been hot and humid here in Fukuoka,
since early July. It has been muggy for about a month,
but after BON from August 13th to 15th, I have felt a bit
cool in the morning and late night, day by day,

September is in about a week.
I like autumn.
